    Requirements

    • 2020 - 2024 Toyota 4Runner
    • Push Button Start Ignition
    • Automatic Transmission

    Operation

    • To Start:  Press the lock button 3 times on factory key FOB
    • To Stop:  Press the lock button 3 more times while engine is on
    • Parking Lights will illuminate
    • Run Time is 15 minutes 
    • All doors, and hood must be closed

    Special Notes

      • The engine will NOT turn off when any door is opened
        • After remote starting, unlock and enter the vehicle with your fob present (engine will continue running), tap the brake pedal, and off you go!

        N2 for the win!!

        So the install was very straight forward. I, like most everyone else had an issue reading the printed instructions that came with the remote start as the pictures were very lack luster and the printed instructions also missed a couple steps it seamed, so that's why 4 stars. But the operation of the unit itself works! Hit the lock button 3 times with a slight pause between each and watch your 4runner roar to life! Walk up to it grab the door handle to unlock. Step in then step on the break pedal and voila you are ready to roll! No need to restart your 4runner because N2 kept it running for you!! Now the only only draw back, other than the instructions that came with it, is I didn't get it installed soon enough! Really! It's nice to have a remote start that just works and you didn't have to butcher your factory wiring harness to install it! Everything was plug play and go! To me the hardest part was waiting for it to arrive! The install is very very easy. Pull the trim pieces both driver and passenger. Route the harness through the dash with a coat hanger or fish tape. Plug in the passenger side connectors. Plug in the driver side connector. Then follow the instructions, this part is clearly written in the instructions, thank goodness! Then final step is reverse the trim pieces back on. Done! If you want a video to follow id suggest to search "R4T n2 with key takeover" on YouTube, R4T is the name of the creator!
