Nice safe

I'm definitely happy with the quality and fit and finish of this console safe, and it exceeded expectations in a few key ways. I expected that I'd have to modify it slightly to accommodate the USB-C power cord I run in my center console, but the vault is already designed with this in mind. There is easy access to the factory 12-volt socket in the 4Runner console, and even a small cable cut out in the lid to allow a cable to run outside of the vault without modifications. Super useful. Installation is as easy as it gets. I added some white stick-on padding to the inside walls to brighten it up and add some additional protection for anything I place inside. On the wall closest to the driver I added a section of Velcro for added utility. It's great having a quick and easy way to secure things you don't want to leave, um, unsecured when you're away from the vehicle. It's more expensive than a small lockbox and cable, but super slick. I'm sure a determined thief could get into the vault, but the objective is to slow them down, and to get a casual thief to move along to easier targets while keeping a few things secure when running errands where you can't carry it with you. The vault shipped quickly and arrived well packaged and in perfect shape. Nicely done!
