The flip function is subpar. It’s as if it doesn’t want to stay closed.

I was really excited to get this and it arrived quickly. Well I tried to get it put together and after completely destroying my key (as they do warn), not only is it misaligned, but the buttons are so tight that literally the slightest touch would make my panic alarm go off. I could not configure it in a way to make it work. Luckily, I have a spare key fob, so I’m not keyless, but this makes me sad.

Not Stoked

Just got this delivered. Followed the install videos that Meso and 4Runnerlifestyle put out. Main issue is the key flips in out, not in. I took the spring mechanism apart and it really can’t orient another way to spring outwards. The other problems people have mentioned about it feeling a bit cheap are valid. I had to file down the plastic to get the OEM fob keypad to click evenly. The key also has far more play than I feel comfortable with. Overall, not too pleased. Maybe I got a defective product but it really seems like it’s just not a great product.

broke in 5 days, absolutely horrible product and should be removed

First off 70$ for a piece of plastic is very expensive but the least you expect is it to be robust. The key came off the cover within 5 days of using it. This was after I had to destroy the oem key to install this and spending 80$ to get the blank key cut. I should have listened to the previous reviews and regret buying this. Hope 4Runner lifestyle takes this down
