Overall, I really like the product, cosmetically speaking. It added a nice touch of carbon fiber to match the other overlays I have in my Runner. Unfortunately, I cannot get the thing to stick for the life of me! I cleaned the surface with alcohol, held it firmly for awhile and it eventually started lifting off over the next several days. I would ouch it back on but always kept lifting off. Then I removed the adhesives, attempted to put a little gorilla/super glue gel on the back of the overlay and reapply it but that never stuck. Next, I cleaned it again, put new, and more adhesive strips on it and thought it was gonna do it but eventually, over the next week or two, it started lifting off again. Finally, I tried some JB weld to get it to stick, permanently, let it set for 24 hours, taped, but to no avail. I just can’t get the darn thing to adhere without it lifting off. I finally just gave up. Now, it’s sitting in my console 😢
I love the whole setup. Only a 4 star because the adhesives aren't too strong on such a small piece. I ended up using spray gorilla glue on the piece and holding it on for a bit to get it to stick.
