The Roam standard awning makes for an easy setup shelter for plenty of relief from the sweltering sun and inclement weather. Designed to endure all of your adventures, it is made of waterproof, polycotton ripstop material with all-aluminum framing. Add on an awning room to the 6.5’ awning for additional shelter. This awning comes with a universal mounting kit* and is designed for mounting to a variety of roof racks or add the Prinsu Awning Mounting brackets from the dropdown for the easiest and best solution to mount your awning to a Prinsu Roof Rack.

The 6.5' is the recommended and most popular size for mounting on a 5th Gen 4Runner (2010-2024)

This was an easy install on the Sherpa Crestone Rack. I used the Sherpa mounts for a more interesting and integrated appearance of

Super easy install.

Got the prinsu quick release mounts. Trickiest part was figuring out how it went onto the Sherpa rack. Bolt heads were a little too big and it was a tight fit in the rails. Got it to work with a hammer/punch and some effort. The awning itself is awesome. Unzip it, roll it out and pull the guide bars, set the legs down. Takes me and my lady 2-3 minutes to set it up. Holds up without the tension string on a windy OBX 4x4 beach. Love it. Would buy over and over for the price.

Quick and easy!

Installing the Roam Rooftop Awning on my truck has really enhanced my camping experience and setup. It's so nice to have a sturdy, easy to set-up awning! I was able to set it up and take it down by myself pretty easily. There was nothing complicated about the install or the set up/take down. 10/10 recommend!
